Sexiest Moment

I had an idea the other day while watching Whole Wide World. What do i consider our beloved's sexiest moment. Instantly dozens of moments popped in my head and then I had an epiphany. What if we all decided what part or specific scene we thought he was at his zenith and had to explain why. Then when everyone had stated their cases we had a vote to see who won. Their would be no real prize other than being able to view his sexiness from another perspective.

This is my moment. I realize that it isn't him smoking hot as Cholo, Valentino or Guy, or him with the intensity of Robert Howard in one of my top 5 faves www. But the power of his performance in this moment is every reason that he is the SEXIEST & MOST TALENTED ACTOR EVER! The range of emotions he made seem so natural this last season dazzled me. But this moment in FRAME is the culmination of all of them. The apprehension of lifting the sheet, the gut knowing it was Frank but praying it wasn't. Then as he saw his brother the pain and torture in his eyes. The way he had to cover his mouth or let out a primal scream tore me up! So this one is extremely unorthodox but for me when a man is able to do what they were born to do with such skill and expertise that to me is the very definition of SEXY.

I look forward to all your moments. I am always delighted and surprised by the creativity of all the responses!

  1. I am hoping that all is forgiven between you and I and the you post this comment from me!

I agree with you - this was the moment. My heart broke for Bobby. VDO's acting was superb, you could feel his anquish. He is by far the best actor. I love his roles in various movies, but as LO:Ci fans we have daily pleasure of watching him as he makes Bobby Goren so human to us.

  3. I'm pretty fond of him sitting in that darkened room after his mother has died. The sensitivity of the man is incredibly sezy.

  4. Also in Endgame after his mother hits and screams at him, he takes her hand...Oh My God that moment just tears me up.

  5. So many choices, but I'm going with his vulnerability in Frame, when he's in interrogation, and Declan asks why he thinks his Mom didn't worry about him as much as Frank, and Bobby says "Because she knew I could take care of myself?". My god, the way he said that line just killed me! The sexiness and vulnerability were astounding!

  8. Theresa, go back to your "masses are asses" Meloni Balogna and chew your cud elsewhere. Thank you.

As far as picking ONE moment??? I think I would have to say it was that moment right after Eames criticized the way Bobby personalized the case in "A Person of Interest." The look on his face made me melt!

  9. I adore everyone on this blog, so i hope that things that happened when i was gone with my family emergency and my name was used are forgiven of me.

Diane i agree picking just one is a daunting task!

val has a point that scene rocked me to my toes! Let's face it all of Endgame ruled!

FRAME was a tour de force for me so any Frame scene is brilliant!

But i had forgotten how wonderful he was in A Person Of Interest until i watched it again, all good choices!

Oh and fyi NOT ONLY is the man HOT and SEXY but he's also ruin you for other men seductive and charismatic and any other adjective out there you can think of!

  10. Wow, just one?!? Well, the first thing that springs to mind is Blind Spot when he was talking to Jo and she was making her very creepy confession. The look of horror/guilt/sorrow all served up in one scene as Jo starts nonchalantly confessing her murders, her reasons for kidnapping Eames and recalls the past moment of her life with that despicable Declan.

  11. Hey Vixens ... it's been awhile but i do check in every day! Who is this Teresa invading project 13 ... if you don't like him why bother us?? Anyway, THE MOST TALENTED, SEXY AWE INSPIRING MAN TO WATCH'S MOST SEXIEST MOMENT IMO IS ... From "Silencer" when Eames is off somewhere with Peter and he has a look of Jealousy? Abandonment? Loneliness? Whatever it is ... his expression like so many others was perfect ... like him! Perfection!

I honestly don't think it is humanly possible to choose just one (or ten for that matter...) at least not fpr me. He's just too damn sexy for his own good.

  18. Hi there, I'm new to this blog but a huge fan of VDO so I had to post right away.

Sexiest moment: Third Horseman, interrogation room. He's dressed in that t-shirt and jeans and turns the chair around and sits down. DAMN!

Actually, anytime he sits with the chair spun around gets me every time!

  20. I must agree with everyone’s choice, all good selections; however I’m going with the kissing scene in TWWW. He kisses Renee Z. with the intensity of man who has bottled up all his lust, passion, fear, emotion and longing, all his life. At the beginning of the kiss he is vulnerable, apprehensive, and inquisitive and then he lets lust and longing take hold of him and he surrenders to his need to connect with another human being. At the end of the kiss you can see him visibly shake himself out of the romantic trance and gather his wits about him. He has fallen for her and he is confused and disturbed by his desire. The range of emotions he displays in that short amount of time is amazing.

  22. Every single moment is awesomeness i know but artist's is brilliant! Wow had to watch the kiss again and just be jealous of Renee ALL OVER AGAIN!

  23. I agree with you artist. As a matter of fact there were so many scenes in that movie that could very well be chosen for that prestigious title.

How about near the end when he is in the car with her saying he knows that she did love him once... or when they are saying goodbye for the last time and he goes to kiss her and almost trips and is met with only a hug from her... or the scene where he is taking care of his mother "best girl" ... or where he breaks down and runs out into the field with the sword... or in the restaurant where he is laughing at her story (Vincent's neat start, stop, and start laughing trick that I roar at every time I see it). What an intense romantic movie that I can't picture anyone but Vincent doing.

That movie really led me to read REH because he seemed like such an intense person filled with wild roller coaster emotions, genuine gentlemanly grace, and such a deeply wounded heart. Every time I read Howard (which has been a lot lately) I hear Vincent's voice calling out the scenes like he did in the movie because the stories are so alive. I almost died when I read Red Nails and caught some of the actual verbiage from the movie.

I am so very grateful that Vincent was kind enough to autograph my Howard book when I was in Utah!

  25. Movie.....TWWW.....I cry EVERY time I see it.

LOCI....call me crazy, but, when he's strapped to the table in "Untethered" and looking so vulnerable, panicky and helpless.....God , my heartstrings hurt!! (Looked like Goren playing Pvt. Pyle!)
