This has to rate as yet another 'best scenes ever' on my list...there are a few but only a couple of them make me laugh, and this is one of them. Thank you for the reminder :-D
I didn't actually notice what he was doing - I mean, who's looking at the OTHER guy?! - until I watched this again some time after I saw it originally. It's so sweet when Bobby gets to 'play'.
I love this episode, it makes me laugh out loud. He is so good at mimicking the other man. All of his little idiosyncrasies are what makes him unique & one of the reasons I love his character so much.
I loved the "shoe store" scene! Bobby does seem to have fun with mimic or playing up to the person he is talking to. I hope we get to see more of the fun Bobby this year. He really is a teaser in a lot of ways and I hope they remember that when they write for him.
I'm not even sure I have seen this epi - where the hell was I? I will have to check it out because I frankly don't remember this scene at all.
BTW, this scene reminds me a bit of one of those priceless Tony Randall/Rock Hudson scenes. Can you imagine a remake of "Move over Darling" or "Pillow Talk" with Vince in the leading role? Anyone?
I think Bobby LOVES playing this "character." Same character as he played in the famous "shoe store" scene. LOL!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I don't remember this scene. I think I have to rewatch this episode. NOW!
ReplyDeleteI liked that scene very much but I didn't understand why Bobby got so close to Jerry and checked his neck.
ReplyDeleteFunny was his objection: or in the bedroom!
And Alex's face as Bobby purported: my partner loves rumor and indirectness.

ReplyDeleteBobby's great to watch when he's "camping" it up. I hope he gets to do it some more. It's a great way for him to communicate with Eames.
ReplyDeleteI love this scene - though I'd watched it several times before I picked up on the mirroring.

I too, hope to see more "fun" in S8!

@Witness
ReplyDeleteDo not worry. I saw this ep for the first time like 3 weeks ago, and I don't remember the scene either!!
@havers
Nice to see you around ;)
I love this scene! I've always thought Bobby doesn't think much of the 'upper class'!
