I DO NOT KNOW YOU WELL.....

Guest post by VDO'O

I found this poem on line and thought I would share it."I Do Not Know You Well, But What I know" By: Nicholas Gordon

I do not know you well, but what I know
Enchants me, like a song sung far away.

Photobucket

I cannot hear the words, but what they say
Hangs softly on the hills where I must go.

Photobucket

I see you furtively and note your eyes,
Hazel and dreamy, your spirit half elsewhere;

Photobucket

I note the sheen of your dark, lustrous hair
And wish I knew your thoughts and shared your cries.

Photobucket

This love brings me sweet pain, but I want more,
Driven by a dream I can't control.

Photobucket

I want the truth of you, untamed and whole;
In frantic hope I haunt your open door.

Photobucket

We do not know him well, but what about him enchants you?

    Obviously if you saw my forum post at 530 this am you know I am enthralled with the entire 'package' as well.

    But really - Fuz darlin' (I know you're delirious like me) but such language! You really do need to specify (perhaps in the forum) when you use that word because it is rather all encompassing and I am not sure which part of speech you were going for (verb, adverb)?

  7. Kimberly, please share you're among friends...

    Fuzzy is right it's the whole f*cking package. From those beautiful curls down to those cute little toes.

    Snark, I know what you mean about that last cap, I needed a cigarette and a cold shower afterwards.

  9. Oh Kimberly please share your poem with us. I love poetry of any kind, it's an expression of one's inner most being that can't be expressed through prose.

    Beautiful work VDO'O all the photos are enchanting as is MR. VDO; I agree with Fuzzy the whole package.

  11. Yeah, I agree with everyone on this; everything about him is enchanting. He's so artistically fluid. What's memorable about him changes from role to role, but the one thing that I think is consistent is that his characters always have hidden depths to them. He may just only give you a peek, but it's there.

    Nice poem, too. It sums up the VDO addiction into beautiful words. Makes me wonder who the author was writing about.
