MICHELANGELO'S VINCENT - THE REAL DAVID EXPOSED

The perfect male body, is there such a thing? The image that immediately comes to mind is Michelangelo’s magnificent statue of David. It embodies all that one associates with the perfect physiqueDavid a vision of masculinity; his sinewy body, those rippling muscles, those powerful thighs & calves, his sculpted (Pardon the pun) abdomen and broad chest and those strong arms that seem to go on forever. Is it possible for any man to embody such perfection?

David

His beautiful chiseled (yes, there will be more of these references) face, the curly hair that falls gracefully onto his forehead, that neck that begs to be kissed, the strong perfectly angular nose, the sensuous lips, those huge adroit hands, even his feet are lovely. Not to mention his ample ‘Family Jewels’.

Yes David is a vision, so can a mere mortal emulate such beauty? Is it humanly possible; you tell me?

A real flesh and blood Adonis is always preferable to a marble statue; don't you agree?

  3. For one brief moment I thought you were going to show us the 'family jewels' exposed at last! (dejected sigh...)

Vincent is so beautiful. If I was an artist, I would volunteer my time to sculpt, paint, draw his naked body. Of course, after a few months of posing in the nude for me, he'd get suspicious as to why I never seem to finish the project!

  4. And dare I say it, but I have no doubt that Vincent's/Gavin's "family jewels" would put David's to absolute shame. Hee.

I was about to say, I think 'David' is somewhat...um....'under-endowed' compared to our Beloved ;0)

The point about Vincent is that he's not what's considered 'classically handsome', but he just exudes an earthy sexiness I find utterly irresistable; and I know I'm in GREAT company with others who do too!!!

ps: Doesn't Vincent have fantastic LEGS *sighs*

  7. If Vincent met David, he would ask him: "What size shoe do you wear?"
(throws his leg up on the table)
    "I wear a 13! You look like a 9, or... what... like an 8?"

  8. Of course, the Mannerist style of the David is thrown into relief by the exaggerated hand size.

    VINCENT DOESN'T HAVE TO EXAGGERATE!

(Er, I actually have had a pretend pin-up of the David hanging inside my wardrobe door for over 30 years. One day I will remember to take it down.)

  9. jersey - if I had a photo of the family jewels even the paramedic wouldn't be able to revive me! Sigh, if only. Yes Snark & Diane, Michelangelo's David does seem to be woefully lacking in the most important area of his anatomy. I agree with Jazzy he looks to be a size 9 and that's being generous. Now wouldn't that be an interesting conversation between Vincent & David. I foresee an argument ensuing over shoe (or sandles) size.
