I love the goatee!! Sexy - definately! I am partial to facial hair - for oh so many reason! I do love his unshaven look..mmmm, mmmm! Love the pictures!
i would say for dream fodder and fantasy material, goren is the man, but for me the most amazing movie he made was TWWW. imho that was vincent's best performance - he captured the essence, the heart and soul, the raw emotion, of Robert E Howard - i read his biography and novalynne's book and the film was true to them... so there you have it honey!
I quite like the goatee..and I love the overcoat for some reason. this is one of those films when I would have preferred him to be wrong in the end :-(
Haa, ha, ha, Ann, if you hadn't come back, I was going to asnwer for you, and guess what I would have said!
If I were a man and decided to grow a beard, I wouldn't want to shave AT ALL, so I don't see the point of goatees. Nevertheless, he looks delicious - and I love the long flappy coat too, eliza.
val LOL - you know me so well - and i so agree about the beard and shaving thing - my ex and no.2 son wear beards of varying styles - my fav is the designer stubble look!
Whether it's Vincent as Major Hathaway, Tony Randozza (Nunzio's Second Cousin)), Sam Clayton (Feeling Minnesota), Frank (Chelsea Walls), Father Casey (The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys), or Dennis Grabowski (The Breakup), NO ONE wears a goatee like Vincent!
i'm not all that fond of goatees per se, not even on vincent, but in this case i feel it adds the right element of gravitas to the role
ReplyDeleteso for me he's simply 'major sexy hathaway' LOL
