I loved this epi. I was so worried he would get found out. Of course I wanted to save him and Donnie. I would like to see Donnie come pack this season and not as an inmate!
Oh man,I watched it in german translation and it almost smashed me...But I think with his original voice I wouldn't have stand it at all! Why is it with the authors that they always make us and Bobby suffer so much! Talking about suffering: just watched FRAME
I think I've watched this one twice, because it cuts me to shreds. It's a mark of how awesome Vincent D'Onofrio is that I DO forget Robert Goren and his pain doesn't actually exist!
Confession Time. I havn't seen this episode, but the pictures alone make me cringe. I can barely stand looking at them. Maybe it's just because I saw Frame for the first time yesterday, I dunno. I'm gonna go back to bed now. Too bad he's not there to cuddle up to...
I loved this, although I was following the story and really into it, this little voice in my head kept saying to me what an awesome actor Vincent is, plus I think I do like a bit of angst now and again but with a happy ending.
I'm the only one thinking he is HHHOOOOOTTTT in this epi. Yeah i know i'm weird but he looks good in the green outfit and thinking about him attach on a table give me BAD NAUGHTY ideas!! I'm sorry i'm gonna kick my head in a door to punish myself!!
Jazzy don't be mad at me!! I was just asking if i'm crazy or not..?? And apparently i'm not so weird!! Please forgive me!!! LOL ;-)) Du weisst dass ich liebe dich!! Mwwaahh!!!!
It is definitely a hard episode to watch, but it remains as one of my favourites because Vincent acts it so well..he makes me forget that Bobby is just a character and I feel everything with him.
I too would like to see Donnie back in S8...in a strange way it seems that Bobby needs someone to look after, if that makes sense?
This is one of my favorite episodes, because it is one of those that just kept me on the edge of my seat the entire hour! I NEEDED the commercial breaks just to catch my breath! Truly great television, and a tremendous performance by my favorite big bear! Yes, I too hope that Donnie returns and that Goren is able to reconnect with his nephew, especially now that his brother is gone. Even though the new showrunner as said the emphasis this season will be on the cases, and less on the personal, I think this is one "personal" hanging chad that needs to be addressed.
I watched the show once and truly can't bear to watch it again. It's too brutal and I hate to see Bobby being tormented. Vincent is a brillant actor and he should have won an Emmy for his performance.
It was such A POWERUFL EPI...I just cryed and cryed at the end;I was a nervous wreck!! My hart hurted for poor, poor, poor Bobby..snif,snif..!! Well..I have naughty thoughts while I wathed it..you know..that teddy bear straped helples with chains on that table..*wink,wink..blush..*!!!
No clue. I only saw it twice and that was on USA when they first aired the epi. After that all the re runs had the scene cut.
The scene was so good that after only seeing it twice I still remember it very vividly.
It was a longer version of Bobby at Frank's apartment. He goes to get Frank's cell phone to see where Donnie was calling from and finds a crack pipe. And Bobby tells him that's it; he says "You could be standing on a bridge ready to jump and I'd listen for the splash"
That's why when I saw "Frame" the epi was so much more powerful because in a way Bobby had predicted Frank's death and made it clear that he would never try to stop it.
I would give anything if USA would re-air that epi in it's entiretity.
I'm just counting down....10, 9, 8....
ReplyDeleteFINALLY, LOCI ads on, even though they're concentrating on Goldblum.

ReplyDeleteJazzy, you know he gets out of it alive. Now's the time to be brave.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch this one very often either....My Poor Baby :(

I haven't said he isn't hot. And like VivB I do like angsty stuff, it's just... idk... can't explain. well, it's not THAT important.

The man can ACT. Tell me anyone who watched with audio that you were not lost and in pain with him. Screw you Emmy's.
ReplyDeleteIt was so hard to see Bobby in so much pain. I wanted to smack the staff at the hospital AND the NYPD brass!
ReplyDeleteI loved the Python shot! Looks like he wanted to get out of there as much as Bobby!

ReplyDeleteJazzy, watch it with audio or at least try it is so worth it.
ReplyDeleteIf at all possible try getting your hands on the extended version, it's only like 2 - 3 minutes longer but so much more powerful.
The scene with Bobby and Frank is what really got to me, especially after they aired Frame.
That epi proves why the show has lasted for eight years despite the lack of promotion and intrest from the mainstream audience.
