Here we go...

A. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
B. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
C. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
D. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
E. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Here are the 5 ques our Val sent me, and my - shallow as usual - answers to them.

1. You are very fluent in English. Have you ever had an embarrassing
misunderstanding in the language?

EVERY time when I'm on line!

But the most embarrassing happened ages ago.
I was 5 when I asked my dad (who played the bassoon) for the reason why some people called him a faggot. He lied and answered: "Never mind, it's just the English word for bassoon". Since the German word for bassoon is fagott, it made sense to me.
One year later at school during the English class, we were talking about hobbies, such as music. My teacher said she loves to play the drums, and I announced: "My dad loves his faggot!"
The teacher shook her head out of pity and said: "I know that already. But don't be sad, I pray for his recovery".
Still believing in the wrong translation for bassoon, and taking her prayer as insult (without knowing why), I stomped my feet and screamed: "At least he is no damned drummer!"

You better don't ask me for the embarrassing misunderstandings I had in French. LOL!

2. What is the best or most exciting thing that's ever happened to you?

A long time before I knew VDO I used to dream about MDN. Marc Di Napoli is a French actor (and who is now renowned as a painter), who became famous in the 70's.
He was one bad boy! I was 12yrs old when I decided to marry him. I mean - hey - look at him!
Many years later, in Paris, I went to the theater to see Marc acting in a stage play. I hadn't planned anything, nonetheless it happened that I met him after the show. Obviously he didn't marry me (his loss, Vincent's chance!) but he did take me out for dinner. Did I say "dinner"?

Of course it was not the best thing, but on that day I learned one of the best lessons of life: Some dreams are better if they stay as dreams.
Anyway, my taste in men hasn't changed much in all those years; I still do like bad guys.

3. What was your worst holiday disaster?

Holiday? What's that?
If I would have holidays, I made sure to put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Ah, I'd better add "and not for anything, unless the place is on fire".

Actually there was a fire!

4. How, when and where did you meet your husband?

Which one do you mean???

5. How did you come (sorry) to Vincent D'Onofrio?

The image ALONE of being with him ---
Oh, you meant... Well, that happened 1992 when I watched Desire. Gavin was my "first turn-on".

  5. what is the meaning of "had me rolling"?

  6. Very interesting though not in depth enough for us nosy people. One husband is plenty. The fantasy ones are easier to manage. And I've found in most cases, not all but most of our fantasies are much better than real life. Though of course that doesn't include Mr. D'onofrio.

If no one has answered the rolling question it mean with laughter.
